Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CustomBank application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any terms, do not use the App.

Service Description

Simulation Purpose

CustomBank is a sophisticated banking simulation application designed exclusively for entertainment purposes, providing:

  • Virtual banking account management (checking, savings, credit)
  • Simulated transactions and money transfers
  • Bill payments with customizable receipts
  • Transaction tracking and history
  • Document/statement generation
  • Custom Currency Creator System
  • Visual customization with 25+ bank themes

Non-Financial Service

THE APP IS NOT A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND DOES NOT PROVIDE ACTUAL BANKING SERVICES.

User Accounts and Security

Account Security

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining PIN confidentiality
  • Securing device access
  • Managing biometric settings
  • Protecting stored information
  • Securing Currency Creator access codes and invitations

Account Restrictions

  • One installation per device
  • No shared accounts
  • Personal, non-commercial use only
  • Age restriction: 13+ years

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

  • Personal entertainment
  • Interface exploration
  • Feature testing
  • Design appreciation
  • Currency creation and management for entertainment purposes
  • Activity-based earning within the Currency Creator system

Prohibited Uses

  • Misrepresenting as real banking services
  • Deceiving others about financial status
  • Commercial use without authorization
  • Reverse engineering or modification
  • Unauthorized access attempts
  • Distribution of screenshots for deceptive purposes
  • Using the Currency Creator system to facilitate real-world financial transactions

Premium Features and Monetization

Ad-Based Rewards

  • The App provides virtual currency rewards in exchange for viewing advertisements
  • Reward tiers vary based on ad duration
  • Ad frequency and availability may change without notice

Premium Subscription

  • Optional premium subscription ($1.99/month) for ad-free experience
  • Subscription management through device app store
  • Auto-renewal can be turned off through subscription settings
  • No refunds for unused subscription time

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App remain with CustomBank, including:

  • App code and architecture
  • Visual elements and interfaces
  • Bank themes and design components
  • Currency Creator system
  • Feature implementations
  • Documentation and content

User Rights

  • Personal, non-exclusive use
  • Non-transferable license
  • No modification rights
  • No distribution rights
  • Currency creation does not transfer ownership of the App's systems

User-Generated Content

Currency Creator Content

  • Users retain creative rights to currency designs created within the App
  • CustomBank reserves the right to remove inappropriate content
  • Users grant CustomBank a license to store and display created currencies
  • CustomBank is not responsible for disputes between currency creators and members

Content Restrictions

Users may not create currencies or content that:

  • Infringes on third-party intellectual property
  • Contains offensive, harmful, or illegal material
  • Impersonates real financial institutions
  • Promotes illegal activities

Data Storage and Privacy

Local Storage

  • The App primarily uses local device storage (SharedPreferences)
  • User data, including created currencies, is stored locally on the device
  • Data may be lost if the App is uninstalled or device storage is cleared

Firebase Services

  • The App utilizes Firebase for certain functionality
  • Users consent to Firebase's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • Data transmitted to Firebase is subject to their data handling practices

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Limitation of Liability

  • No liability for data loss
  • No responsibility for device issues
  • No damages for service interruption
  • No financial liability
  • No liability for Currency Creator system outcomes

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless CustomBank from claims arising from:

  • App misuse
  • Terms violation
  • Legal violations
  • Third-party rights infringement
  • Currency Creator system misuse

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Update the App
  • Change terms and conditions
  • Adjust usage policies
  • Modify Currency Creator functionality

Termination

User Termination

  • Uninstall the App at any time
  • Delete local data
  • Cancel premium features
  • Terminate currency memberships

Service Termination

We may terminate access for:

  • Terms violation
  • Illegal activity
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Technical necessity

Currency Experience System

Data Isolation

  • Each currency maintains separate data within the App
  • Switching between currencies changes the App experience
  • Permission systems control feature access based on currency roles

Limitations

  • Currency Experience features are for entertainment only
  • Virtual currencies have no real-world value
  • CustomBank may limit or modify Currency Experience features at any time

Entertainment Purpose Statement

Users explicitly acknowledge that:

  • The App is for entertainment only
  • No real financial services provided
  • Simulated balances and currencies are not real currency
  • Features are for demonstration purposes

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between users and CustomBank regarding the App.
